Clare's current practice evolved as a result of a move from London to the north dock of the most easterly town in England.
Living in an industrial landscape has highlighted a long held love for practical buildings where form follows the function. Her approach in representing these forms is to create something new whilst recognising an inspiration from old, hand-tinted postcards.( She has a collection!)
She now divides her time between Lowestoft and London. She hunts country wide for suitable industrial buildings and landmarks.
